Fiona Cullen

Founder

I'm Fiona Cullen, a high-impact leadership skills coach that specialises in guiding emerging leaders to confidently cultivate their mastery of leadership and unleash their high-impact leader within.

My career has been an exciting journey, balancing an elite amateur sporting career - where I proudly represented Australia five times in two sports - with a thriving career as a communications professional.

Over the past 25 years I’ve worked across commercial, not-for-profit, and public sectors in diverse roles including strategic marketer, events manager, sponsorship partner, business development strategist, NLP-based sales consultant, communications officer, and training facilitator.

Following a big-post-Olympic trials career pivot in 2008, I discovered my true passion as a leadership facilitator and coach. Since then I have had the privilege of training and coaching over 2,000 individuals to master essential leadership skills including: giving and receiving authentic feedback, engaging in difficult conversations with confidence, building trust, fostering accountability and teamwork, managing priorities, setting healthy boundaries, and facilitating empowered delegation, among others.

Facilitating growth and nurturing self-confidence in others is my greatest joy and passion. My mission is to help emerging leaders eliminate uncertainty and increase their probability of success when navigating the challenges of modern management. My coaching and programs cultivate genuine leadership capability through proven strategies and transformative practical mastery that lasts long after our initial engagement.

Through Performastery Leadership Facilitation, I empower business owners, managers, supervisors, and team leaders to harness and evolve their leadership capacity. The secret to my approach lies in my S.P.R.I.N.T leadership framework which applies the lessons I learned in the sporting arena to elevate leadership mastery across entire companies. When you equip leaders with baseline tools and strategies, they lead with confidence and purpose.

Beyond my professional endeavours, I cherish my role as a stepmother to three exceptional young men and am grateful every day for the unwavering support of my husband and family.

I look forward to supporting you to embrace and unleash your high-impact leader within!

Fiona Cullen in the business of clearing hurdles

2006 Commonwealth Games, Melbourne. Getty Images captured my reaction when I realised I'd made my first ever international final for the 100m hurdles. I went on to come 5th in the final, my best ever placing at a major international competition. A young Sally Pearson (nee Mclellen) hit the second last hurdle in that same race. I was the other aussie athlete that picked her up off the ground and consoled her.
